Six ways we save and strengthen teeth.

From a routine filling to complex root canal retreatment, every service below sits inside one specialty: conservative dentistry and endodontics.

Root Canal Treatment

When the soft pulp inside a tooth becomes infected or inflamed, usually from deep decay or a crack, root canal treatment removes it, cleans and shapes the canal system, and seals it to stop the infection from returning. It's the most effective way to relieve the pain and keep the natural tooth in place, rather than extracting it.

  • Diagnosis confirmed with a digital X-ray
  • Local anaesthesia for a pain-free procedure
  • Cleaning, shaping & sealing of the canal system
  • Restoration to restore full bite function

Post & Core Build-Ups

A root-treated tooth often has too little natural structure left to hold a crown on its own. A post (fibre or metal) is anchored into the canal space, then built up with a tooth-coloured core material, giving the tooth the strength and shape it needs before a final crown is placed.

  • Assessment of remaining healthy tooth structure
  • Precision-fit post placed into the canal
  • Core build-up shaped to receive a crown

Regenerative Endodontics

In select cases, particularly young, immature teeth with unfinished root development, biologically-driven techniques such as platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) can help regenerate pulp-like tissue inside the canal instead of simply filling it. Dr. Agarwal has published research on this exact approach, including work on PRF's regenerative potential in endodontics.

  • Careful case selection, often for younger patients
  • Thorough disinfection of the canal space
  • Biologic scaffold placed to support tissue regrowth

Crowns & Restorations

When a tooth is too damaged for a filling alone, from a large cavity, a fracture, or after root canal treatment, a crown covers and protects it entirely. Each crown is shaped, shaded, and fitted for a natural bite and a natural look.

  • Tooth preparation with precise impressions
  • Temporary crown while the permanent one is made
  • Fit, bite check & cementation of the final crown
05 · Minor Surgery

Apicoectomy & Hemisection

Occasionally a tooth doesn't fully heal after root canal treatment, or a multi-rooted tooth has one root that can't be saved. An apicoectomy removes the infected tip of the root through a small surgical access; a hemisection separates and removes only the compromised root, preserving the rest of the tooth. Both are performed with precision and a clear explanation of what to expect.

  • Detailed diagnosis before any surgical step
  • Minor surgical access under local anaesthesia
  • Guided healing with clear follow-up care

06 · Everyday Care

Conservative & Aesthetic Restorations

For cavities, chips, or discoloured old fillings, tooth-coloured composite restorations remove only the decayed portion and rebuild the tooth to blend seamlessly with its neighbours. Dr. Agarwal's own published research compared the bond strength of hybrid tooth-coloured restorative materials, the same evidence-based approach he brings to everyday fillings.

  • Minimal removal of healthy tooth structure
  • Layered, shade-matched composite application
  • Polished finish for a natural, seamless look
